Why are PVP transfers down again?

 Basically, my guild has fallen apart as an Exile on Venekor, and I went to the transfer service to look into paying 50$ to get moved over to Nagafen.  The disclaimer, however, says this- <i> </i><ul><li><i>PvP Characters may only be transferred between two accounts if 1) both accounts are held by the same registered user; and 2) the transfer occurs on the same PvP-enabled server (e.g. from Player X's Account A on Venekor to Player X's Account B on Venekor). <b>PvP Characters cannot be transferred from one registered user to another registered user or from one server to another server via the Character Transfer Service.</b>[/b]</i></li></ul><b> Alright, that seems old and outdated, so I did a petition, and today I got this response- <i>[b]"... You would be able to move character between PvP servers from your account to another account. </i></b><i>Otherwise, character move to any other PvP server is not available at this time. The free character transfers for EverQuest II was ended (5/9/07) at midnight PDT. If you encounter any further in-game issues or have any questions please feel free to submit a new ticket. Thank you for playing EverQuest II. Game Master Rilwar EverQuest II Sony Online Entertainment"</i>  After talking with CSR Chris in the Live Chat help option, it was clarified that PVP transfers were just a one time thing.  That seems like a very bizarre. Why would you allow free PVP transfers for a week after a merger, but not allow people to pay 50$ to move between servers?

I was under the impression that after the free week(which was extended due to downtime) transfers would continue at 50$ a pop indefinitely.

<p>Not sure why they just dont merge Venekor and Nagafen.  There is very little if any RP on Venekor that I see anyways.</p><p>On an second note, how do you transfer between accounts?  Been trying to do for a while and Venekor never shows up on the list of servers.</p>

ok so apparently someone needs to fix the website text to state that transfers are open for pvp... and they need to fix it so transfers are open for pvp and make it work!!!

I did this too, I moved a character from Nagafen to Venekor (silly me) in the week after the free transfers had closed for the standard $50 rate.

 Good news, after talking to one of the Devs PVP transfers were suspended temporary due to some sort of bug, and that he would do and an update on it at some point soon.

I would love some type of public notice as to what thier intention really is because as it stands now it looks like there is no plans for reopening.

That really has nothing at all to do with this thread, either.  The population is fine, I want to move to Nagafen for different reasons.
