Green/Blue AOE questions:

*  Are the Dark Broodlings limited to the currently targeted encounter, or are the broodlings technically a "blue" AOE? *  Aftershocks - will this be a green effect or a blue (AOE) effect? Broodlings are point blank (blue) but have a very short effect radius. And in contrast Chaostorm or Rift, you have to initially cast them on a target. Aftershocks are encounter locked (green).

Point Blank AOE or "Blue" AOE - are AOE's which target any mob in the immediate area surrounding you.  It is not confined to a single encounter and any mobs nearby will potentially be targets.  The background of the spell on your hotbar will have a blue color. Encounter Nukes have a green background and are confined to the group targeted.  Nearby mobs not in that group will not be affected.  These spells have a green background on your hotbar. agressiv
