In East Freeport there is a citizenship counselor. He is in the building with the guild registrar. You get assigned some very simple quests.

Its certainly not roleplay, which should be determined by the player not the devs and isn't really a part of the game for most anyway. Frankly if Qeynos is going to accept Ogres, Trolls and Dark Elves they should take all classes.

BTW with the moving enhancement, (which is great), it is no longer possible to purchase housing without the appropriate faction.
the reason I want to move from neriak to freeport is because I lag so badly there and I have little to no problems in freeport. I thought at first like someone else stated it was due to all the players there when it first went live but today there were only a handful of ppl there and lag was the same for me. Probably my computer but at the moment I can't afford to change that.

thank you Seamus, for telling me where to go in freeport. I'll do that tomorrow you were extremely helpful.

I moved my arasai from neriak to freeport too for convenience issues. And personal taste. Besides it's not like you cant go back. Its 10 mins total worth of super easy questing to switch sides and from what I can tell theres no limit to how often you can change from freeport to neriak. It's not like a real betrayal.

Josgar wrote:

Are you talking about the five factions that Neriak has? The writ givers? They have 5 writ giver groups in neriak... and they eventually lead to the Queen

Technically there aren't 5 factions in Neriak since the only faction being tracked from doing writs for the 5 different groups is that for Neriak the city. For example, by doing writs for the Indigo Brotherhood you aren't gaining Indigo Brotherhood faction towards being able to buy titles, clothing and/or furniture items specific to that faction. Conversely, when you do writs for the Freeport Militia you're working towards rewards that only that faction can bring you.

Neriak is the only city I know of that has a 5 room house and no status points to buy though...

The NPC for collections stands "outside" in an area just off the dockside proper. There's only one person for all those status thingies and for that alone I applaud EQ. I wish they'd fix them all the same way.
