There Should be an online EQ2 Custom User Interface School

I've been looking on EQ2Interface.com for some kind of thread in the forum or something anywhere that could teach someone how to create their own custom user interface.  I keep coming away empty handed.  Way back when I played EQ1 there was a custom user interface designer name Thomus King who made the most beautiful, elegant icons and graphics for the user interface.  I would like to be able to learn how to do this myself.  I just wish there was some place I could go to learn how to do this so that I can make my own.  The default user interface is rather bland and the spell and ability icons are uninspired.  Does anyone know somewhere online that can really teach me how to make work like Thomus King?
