New LFG window is all black ...

<p>I posted this problem on the technical issues forum and didn't get any help so I thought I would try here.</p><p>The new LFG window that just came in with GU35 is all black to me other than a few icons here and there (eg, no text anywhere). If I randomly click around, I can turn my LFG flag on so the screen seems to be functional.</p><p>I use 100% pure stock default UI other than EQ2 maps. Not a single other add-on.</p><p>I have deleted my UI folder and repatched and then did full file scan.</p><p>Someone suggested there were lines I can add to my xml files but they mentioned it in game so no real way for me to see if that would help.</p><p>Any suggestions ... it's bad enough not being able to use the new features but now I can't even set myself as LFG since the / command for that just pops up the window now.</p>

There is should be a file in the C:/Sony/Everquest II/UI/Default Directory named eq2ui_mainhud_lfg.xml Copy and paste that file to your custom UI directory. Then open up the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file in your custom UI directory, and add the following line <include>eq2ui_mainhud_lfg.xml</include>.

Oh. you stated you use a non-custom UI. I would still check the eq2ui_mainhud.xml for the <include> line I mentioned to see if that is there. Can you post the data from your eq2.cfg file. It might help me determine your problem.

ok i have done all of the above as stated...i am still getting the black lfg screen...are there any specifics that i may be missing (i.e. where exactly the add-in is suppose to be pasted in the file or a specific folder within profit ui folder that the lfg file is suppose to be pasted)? Anyone? Anyone? Please help...any suggestions? Thanks!

It's been there since v3.4, about a week before those new windows came to the live servers.
