well i just started playing again after 2 1/2 years, and i was wondering how the game has progressed. Since release i know alot of people left due to the game being horrible at the beginning but now that its almost perfect how big is the community compared to most mmorpgs out there, has this games community gotten bigger overall up till this point, or smaller? and what game did people leave this game for?  becuz i heard vanguard was a disappointment?

Really depends what you are looking for in a server. Some servers are very top heavy while others have a good lot players active in low and mid levels. EQ2 also has PvP now if you are into that type of gameplay.

Don't role on a pvp server if you like quick leveling. PvP is all about leveling slowly and twinking so that your chactor is the absolute best it can be. There are players with close to 40aa in their 20s and 50+ aa in their 30s.
