Out of Video Memory?

<p>Great, now I can't even log in after the patcher because I get this error:</p><p><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a123/Bibblyvonrotten/Error.jpg" border="0"></p><p> I don't feel I need to upload my specs because I have had no problems playing EQ for years. I was even playing before the patch today and no issues.</p><p>I restarted my computer and still have this issue. If I can load up Oblivion, EQ Live and other games I should not have video memory issues with EQII.</p><p>I have SLI and I even disables and swaped out both cards on single card setup and still the same issue. Looks like I con't even play untill this is fixed.</p><p>I have Nvidia 7900GS(s) if that helps. Something got seriously screwed in this patch.</p><p>Ps, I just noticed, Why is EQII checking my CD Drive for DX9 video memory?</p>

<p>I'm getting a similar out of memory error running in Vista.  Seems to happen when there's alot of textures to try and render all at once, especially if there's other players in the area.</p><p>I'm running 2 gig of Ram and a nVidia GeForce 7950 GT with 512 MB on it.  </p>

My room mate got the exact same error message, but he still had the settings of all his characters from about 2 years ago. He's just returning now. Anyway, he deleted all the character settings and then the cache and eq2 default and recent folders, and now it's running just fine for him. edit: he also defragged, which may have had part in it. Hope this helps.
