There is a group of us that are new to EQ2 (less than a week old) and we have a group of paladin, conjurer, wizard, 2 furys. I have to say the biggest disapointment in this game is the lack of general info about, well, anything outside of the game. As all of us have been playing MMO's and MUDs prior to them, we've learned that you can't trust descriptions...what sounds great my stink, and vice versa.

Are there any sites out there that give a general description of the AA for each class?

The 2 furys are each part of a hubby/wife duo. One is fury/wiz, the other is fury/paladin. All 5 often group together, and the fury/wiz play with the conjurer very often. For a nonpvp/nonraid build, what would be some suggestions?

So far we both took the shapeshift in the druid line, and I'm going after the DPS stuff on the right side of EoF line, towards energy vortex. I honestly have no idea what to do after that, especially in the druid tree.

It would be great if we could differentiate a bit, if it would help when we group, but a general build for us both would be fantastic too

Thanks a ton!

Well, typically every Fury goes for the Crit spell chance and Crit heal chance AAs in the Druid line. In the Fury line it's totally up to what you want to do. I did buffs and heals first, but a lot of furies do energy vortex first. Whenever i get all 50 Fury points spent, i'll have all the good buff aas, the hibernate AA and then energy vortex as my 50th and final point.

I'm not sure of what site has a description of all classes aa lists though, sorry.

I did the same as Faelia - heal and spell crits, buffs, and Energy Vortex. I absolutely love the Hibernation AA - it's priceless.

This site may help you - it has a list of all class and subclass achievements: http://www.eq2ref.com

Playing on a PvP server, I probably went a different route to most. First I maxed my runspeed from the EoF tree (Enhance Peerless Predator), then spent 21 points in the Energy line to get Energy Vortex. The reduced recast for the dots and nukes is great! Then I switched to the KoS tree and maxed the heirophant line (WIS), ae root, extra runspeed and the final ability, an autorez. Then I maxed the stormcaller line(INT) for the crits and skill buffs. I then went back to the EoF tree and spent my points upping my debuffs and root/snare (great for pvp) for the snare proc final ability...I dont think its worth it though, so I may respec and try to get hibernation enhanced..overall more usefull I think. Got 3 points left before I'm maxed

This is only from my personal experience of doing 1v1 duels... but Animal Form is invaluable for a small PvP situation. I've gotten in fights with other healers, we both have good resists... but I have the advantage of going from oom to full mana. Hell, the other day a guardian was smacking around a bunch of people in duels in Freeport. So I tried my hand. First time, I kited him around. Took FOREVER because of his resists. Second time, I stood my ground and healed through all his power. When he went OOP, I was at like 30%, so I dropped a hib, and regrowth and though "what the hell". Popped Animal Form and was able to melee him off (I parse around 400 DPS with a crappy 1h weapon.) Animal Form allows me to go from OOM to FM in about 25-35 seconds.
