i got death march recently and as ive been grinding my sk, ive made a few posts on holding aggro and what not. now that i finally have it,

how do i use it?

ive been the mt in alot of the groups in pof before i got dm , and was not having too much trouble holding aggro. once in a while one will get away, but most part i do very well.

now that i have it, should i use it as a buff? Do i start out with dm as my main taunt now or what?

Agreed 100%. The utility of this spell is absolute. However I understand the nervousness of it being on a three minute timer so I'll just say this, as a SK who has just received this ability, and you are holding agro well, refer to above post. If you are in instances where you cannot hold aggro well, then you may want to save it and time it for another rescue. However this spells potential for your group to go absolutely psycho and do some extreme damage within 10 seconds should not be overlooked. Find other ways to properly hold aggro and use Death March for exactly as the name implies. Good luck!

As far as i have noticed, and also read in another thread, the aggro from DM doesn't work on mobs that you havn't engaged. So first pull the mobs .. use grouptaunt .. an AoE or whatever .. and THEN use DM. I've noticed that a few times when i precasted DM on Mobs that may charm or whatever to avoid that, that the Defiler for example still got aggro.

u can also use DM in Raids and groups to Save the MT by popping a DM when the MT is almost down, the healers will heal the mt i they r smart and let u go down. pop an FD by the time ur in red to lose aggro. and the MT will have full health by the end of it.

very important what shalla said. make sure that the group has engaged and done some damage and youve popped at least one AOE before using to get full benefit. Unless your not using it for the agro effect and just the 10 sec boost.
