I want to beable to do medium damage, and be a good secondary tank and put out some good heals.

Think the consensus amongst the sk crew is Reaver in EoF and 4 4 8 Int line for spell crit. Rest is pretty much up to you.

so would betrayel to pally be a better idea? or what? and dont sk get a power heal?

Of course we do, activate Reaver, and then use Tap Veins. Heals yourself just fine. SK heal themselves very well through Taps and other utility spells, AA etc. But seriously if your concerned about healing others you should be a healer, not a SK or Pally. Pallies do get some nice heals, but as a Crusader your group shouldn't be relying on you to heal unless your intent is duoing etc. In that case, need a bit more information before anyone could properly advise.

yeah but any power heal helps. look at wizards, theres gives only enough power for maybe 1 cast but can save ur life

To your question about healing. Shadowknights are more efficient with their heals than paladins. This is because a SK's heals only heal themselves (leaving ward out). So they are more efficient at self heal. While a paladin sacrafices the efficiency of healing (not by much mind you) to be able to heal others. Guess thats just the way of things.

Paladins also benefit from Heal crits.

I've tried basically every setup and that was possibly the biggest waste of points out of them all. When soloing your offense is your best defense, and when you're tanking for a group someone else should have your back. Who cares if you can be somewhat impervious to damage for a handful of seconds every 15min? NEVER AGAIN. Trample or anything from the STR line is helpful ALL THE TIME...after maxing out melee crits, why spend another point in the STA tree? BLEH!

I have played around/respecced quite a bit, even respecced to STR line yesterday. respecced right back to STA at the end of the day after more testing. it just works for me. The best thing I have found is to play around and see what suits your play style best, rather than just take someone else's advice at face value. Not that there is anything wrong with going STR line, it just wasnt for me. I think some would agree that we can be very effective depending on what role we choose with more than 1 "standard" AA setup. just my 2 cents.
