I had a 30s Fury on Guk a couple years back when I stopped playing, so I rolled a new Fury on Nagafen when I resubbed - I'm level 16 atm. I played DAoC for 4 years and I loved the RvR aspect of the game. I realize that it's different here with full PvP and I just wanted to ask some newb questions because I have no idea what's going on most of the time. If these have been aswered previously, I apologize ... I searched to find some of this info but can't seem to get the answers I need.

What is the 'new zone' that everyone refers to? I see people talking about getting there by way of CL or Nek but I have no idea what the zone is called or how to actually get there from Qeynos.

I keep reading that Furies are good at PvP but I have yet to kill anyone after about 20 encounters. Most of the time I get owned in about 5 seconds before I even know what happened. I have pretty decent gear and my spells are mostly all Adept 1. Am I doing something wrong ... or should I just expect this since I'm not 'twinked' like the majority of others?

Why does everyone seem to have stealth? I keep getting ganked by casters who pop out of nowhere ... is this one of the Achievement Skills for certain classes?

I just recently begin earning Achievement points, I was playing the trial before I resubbed and I didn't get and point prior to level 14. Is this going to hinder my character progression? As a Fury, what should I be spending my Achievement Points on?

Sorry for the newb-ness ... any help is appreciated. Thanks.

From qeynos you take the spire to CL, then walk north towards Neriak. Go to www.eq2interface.com and download EQ2 map. Best download you'll never do, hands down.

2) Ok, level up to 23 or so Furies are great in a group, always, but if you want to solo then you need your big hitter Strike of Thunder. You get a few dots at 16th, and some nice buffs, but nothing to write home to the Queen about.

Reality check for you though... "almost all adept 1" is pvp language for "Gank me, i'm a free easy kill". You should never have a spell (unless it's useless) under adpet III, and look for master I's. Adept III's and Mastercrafted should be what you consider the minimum gear.. then start looking at adornments.

Another reality check, how many AA do you have? By level 16... i had a LOT, because i focused on it, as do many other players out there. Get a crapload of em.

3) Casters get invis at 15th, scouts always have it. If your opponent is grouped with a brigand he can grant stealth to the whole group (if they can manage NOT TO BREAK SMUGGLE!!)

4) It won't hinder your progression, but you should start doing quests and not killing mobs for xp. Grind to end-game if that's your style, but do it on quests to maximize your AA along the way. If you want to stick around and pvp though.. get as many as you can.

You're a Q on naggy, and thus my prey.. so i can't help you any further Good luck..
