A not overly large frustration I have is in hunting through 6 sales crates looking for the item I am after in someones residence. Especially if after two runs through the 6 crates I leave to find the item I havd been after had been bought before I got there.

Would it be a big task to enable the naming of sales crates? So a "mouse over" might say "armour and weapons" or "shinies, jewellery" etc. I split my own (three) crates into categories, and other than the scroll box which is hopefully self explanatory, the other two are basically a mystery.

I understand your pain all too well. I would like to see this too.

For my customers, I tried to set up a compromise. I have three salesman's crates. In one, I sell gear: armor, jewelry, arrows, etc. One is for recipes and spell scrolls, and one has harvests and collectibles. I have the three crates set in the middle of the room, right in front of where you zone in.

I have placed a helm on the armor crate, a book on the recipe/spell scroll crate, and a djinn lamp on the harvest/collectible crate.

Granted, it's not as nice as having some kind of name that pops up as you mouse over the crate, but it's my attempt to make life a bit easier for my customers.

I would like to see this too one day Kellin, what a creative way to guide the customers to the right crate, very nice!

I've tried to do something similar to Kellin. I have a sales corner that I have set up with not just my sales containers, but a variety of objects like boxes and chests and crates. I have tried to make the sales containers very obvious in their places. I have a dagger HQ reward mounted on the side of my crate with armor and weapons, and books on top of the crate with spell books and recipe books.

I think it'd be fantastic to be able to name your containers, too.

I think this could be a rather usefull tool as well. We can already name pets so I imagine it is possible to put some kind of tag on the sale crates. Currently my house has 2 armor and sheild containers as well as the vet reward one , while I understand what each one contains since I placed them I am sure people who bother to come buy from my house can't tell which one hold the plate armor the chain armor or my misc stuff.

the odd thing is, the support is kinda already in there. kinda. you know how you can label boxes/bags in your inventory? if you label something, and then use it in the broker as a container (yeah, its rare these days to not use a sales display), in the broker selling tab UI theres a text box that displays that label, but it only works on bags/sacks/box's as you cant label a display because its not a container until its in the broker. ---- also now that the inhouse light of sight text lag is fixed, i want "hover over the head" text on all sales displays in houses so you can tell whats a merchant display and whats a decoration. have the text be like npc's and the < function > under their name. ie: collections <salesman crate> ------- you could skip this whole label thing and let us the merchant board in other people's houses, and if they they "visitor" status, it will only list things for sale in that house, with the same no tax buying privilege.
