<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: georgia,palatino">If this is in the wrong place please feel free to move...  If I had only plat in the bank and I only needed to get out 10g for whatever reason, is there a way to get only 10g and not remove one whole plat?  For example I had to make sure I had some coin on me for a quest and I had to carry a plat on me (although it was only going to cost me gold).  I then had to carry around a TON of excess gold (and coin weight) after the fact until I could get back to the bank and re-deposit.  I've never figured out how to break plat down (or any other coin) to get what I need, is there a way and I'm just missing it?  If there isn't can we get this implemented?  Like maybe when you are taking out plat you can drop it into the gold slot and it will break into 100 gold and then you can withdrawal 10g.  Yes I know 100g rounds up to 1plat so this is probably not the best solution but running around with excess coin for people like me that can't carry alot of extra weight (/bah mages!!!) it would be most helpful.</span>

Hold down the shift key and click on the gold area in the bank, and drag. You will get an option to type in how many gold you want to take out. The change will remain in the bank in the gold slot.

<p>Yep, this functionality exists in the game already.  <strike>Just hold Shift while you click and drag on the higher coin denomination to get a quantity selector window for the lower denomination.  (For instance, Shift+Click+Drag on plat to get a selector for up to 100 gold.)</strike></p><p>My bad...Cilarea has it right.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  It's been a long time since I haven't made change in the mailbox, LOL.</p>

<p>Actually, the first two replies here are wrong.</p><p>If you have only plat in your bank, and no gold, there is no way to take gold out without taking 1 whole plat out. no way at all.</p><p>Best thing to do is to buy something with a merchant sellback of exactly the same as its purchase price (crafting fuels as an example) and buy a stack with plat, which will break it up.</p><p>Not a bad idea to add in a function to split plat up in the bank though.</p>

<p>A greater functionality that could easily be added is the little withdrawl and deposit buttons, like are seen on the guild bank.</p><p>Click withdrawl, a little thing pops up and you click exactly what you want out.</p><p>Same could be done for deposit. You want only gold silver and copper deposited, click it and enter what you want.</p>

I'm standing in front of the bank right this moment and have exactly 1 plat in the bank, absolutely no gold, silver, or copper. I shift+click over the gold icon, and click the quantity 50.  Viola, I have now taken 50 gold out of my bank.

I shift+click over the gold icon, and click the quantity 50.  Viola, I have now taken 50 gold out of my bank. </blockquote><p> That's what I did as well, and it worked just fine.  I deposited 1 plat in the bank (which was empty to begin with), Shift+Click on the gold slot, and I have the option of withdrawing up to 100 gold instead of withdrawing the 1 plat.  The functionality you're looking for is definitely there, and has been for months now (it was introduced several LUs/GUs back).</p>

Hehe, let me see... This was added in <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=252890" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">LU #2 in 2005.</a> - You can now withdraw amounts of copper, silver, and gold that are larger than what you have in the bank as long as you don't exceed your total funds. For example, if you have 1 platinum, 0 gold, 10 silver, 20 copper in the bank, you can withdraw 90 silver. Afterward, you will have 0 platinum, 99 gold, 20 silver, 20 copper in the bank.
