disruption and other skills

Ok, I am curious.  What exactly do pluses to disruption and subjugation do for your dps.  In a raid for instance, I'm not likely to be casting roots, so do pluses to subjugation help at all?  Also, do pluses to disruption help me hit harder?  I know in the past they helped you hit better, which is of course very very nice.  But i'm wondering if they help you hit harder.

it lowers you chance of getting resisted, if you get resisted you just wasted the time to cast and did 0 damage, so the higher your disruption, the less likely to get resists the higher your dps.  run ons are fun

there are some of your spells that use subjugation, Incapacitate, and your roots for example,  those ones check against your subjugation for resistance.

<p>i'm a big fan of disruption. other than spell quality and know how, there's nothin that can hurt your dps worse than resists. And i definately notice a difference when i take all my disruption gear off, or don't have someone in my group w/ a nice disruption buff. I haven't bene fortunate enough to reap many raid looted jewelry pieces, so i wear 2 Band of the Coven for the disruption bonus, as well as a few other pieces that i wear over stuff with slightly better overall stats. </p>
