This alt will be used primarily for solo-spear-bashing fun, as well as duoing with my sister or a friend, with the occasional trio. Sister plays a battle cleric Quiz, friend plays a swashy--But to ignore the unusual class make up--We think it'll work well, and be rather fun. As far as AA's though, my plan was to go AGI: 4-4-8-4-2 (For the melee crits+that awsome little thinga t the bottom) STR: 4-4-4-8-2 (For the DogDog ward and AE immunity) Rest of points wherever and Melee Mystic AA lines in EoF Spare EoF points? I guess I'll toss 'em into the buffs Nothing else really excites me that much At any rate: Critque this for me, Tell me where I lack, where I suck, and where I am the most awsomeness AA-theory-Picker of all time. Thanks for your time.

I suggest you put the "Rest of points whereever" there. It's definately the best build for soloing. I wouldn't focus so much on the dog haste compared to the ward proc. I would go (and went..) STR 4-4-6-8-2 AGI 4-4-8-7-2 And then fill up on the mystic Combat line. Go for the AE ability as soon as possible, combined with a maxed out bear claws.. You'll be lethal..

You're putting 8 in melee crit and the last remaining point (out of 50 possible) in the heal crit. Simply because that's where it's best spent. Assuming you want +2% heal crit rather than +2% haste or +to some stat.

Sup guys! I'm new to EQ2 and i've read about Mystics and they seem very fun, also i've put 5p into EoF AAs (the first melee attack 4p and 1p into the DoT-melee attack) and after reading this thread i have some questions: Isn't it better to get the melee skills in EoF-tree before putting points in the shaman tree, for a fresh untwinked char? Thanks. R

That's what I did. I didn't max the CAs from EoF but I had at least a point in each one before I started working on the AGI line.

I'm curious on a couple other points, since I've seen the AA critque now.

How are we on power usage/regen?

Also, how are we at named solo in the upper end? As good as inquisitors? (Played one through Poets, and my god it solo'd incredibly well)

Just curious on a few points. I know my defiler can solo anything he can out heal due to a serious lack of power-worry.
