Friend List Copy

I did a search and didn't come across a mention of this.  Is there currently any way to copy your friend list to all of your toons.  For instance, you create a new toon -  rather than going in and adding TONS of friends and all their alts in individually, it would be nice to have the ability to copy your friend list to all of your toons or selectively to whichever alts you'd like.   I am almost positive there is no way of doing this, but it would be a nice addition.  I can't believe the option has never been added in.

It's because the friends list is saved server side, not client side; unlike EQ1 which saved the list on your computer so it was as easy as just copy the file over.

A few months back, they said they moved the EQ1 friends list to server side, to roll out the new Launch Pad in June/July.  Not sure how they would be able do that for those that havent played in years, but that is what they said. Its a pain, but you can always just screenshot the names and then manually stick them in.

A tip I have discovered recently but have yet to use, is your notes file that IS stored on your computer. Look in your main EQII folder and look for a file with a name similar to Runnyeye_Snowdonia_eq2_notes.txt . What this file is are the notes you give to anyone in your friends or ignore list. So, if you make notes to the friends in the character whose friends list you want to copy, that list will show up in this file. Open the file and there you will find the names of all the friends and their subsequent notes you've made about them in game. From there you can just use the list to add the names to other characters friends lists.
