View Full Version : Why no multiple instances of Darlight Wood?

When EoF came out, there was more than one instance of Gfay. Why not Darklight Wood? There are more than 100 people in the zone, I can't even guess how many more. The lag is horrible. People are fighting over spawns and acting like complete *bleeps*. Can we get multiple instances please?

<p>My wife and I played on Test when these were announced, and figured that this (lots of new alts/toons) would happen. That's why we're waiting awhile before we make our Evil Fae's.</p><p>Edit - I just logged on and saw that there are at least 3 instances on the server I play on.</p>

There were three instances on Befallen when I was there early last night.

There were 3 instances of DLW this morning when I left Neriak to log for the down-time.
we had 3 instances open on Butcherblock as well
we had 3 on lucen delere also and still had 3 this morning before leaving for work

Not only three instances on Butcherblock, but the respawn times for mobs seems very user friendly. We had a blast last night making new characters (P.S. thx for the extra slots, I really needed them badly!) Yeah was still a bit laggy, but I expected that with the high demand.

<p>3 on Permafrost last night as well...number of instances might be a good indicator of server population we have all been curious about. </p>

Ive got a feeling that darklight wood is capped at 3 instances. Ive heard of no server having a Darklight Wood 4, and both 1, 2 and 3 capped at 100 when doing a /who last night on AB, wich should have made a Darklight Wood 4.

There was a problem yesterday that was stopping Darklight from instancing itself, so we forced 3 instances regardless of the population. Today or tomorrow the zone should instance itself on demand.

Nek had 3 as well. Kinda tough when you have high lv people camping the vamps and werewolves. I know why they where doing it (L&L) and I'm not complaining. I even began to /duel em then running off <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But it made it tough to do quests when you have a guy on a horse ganking all the mobs.
