I don't "need" to be the best PvP class, but nor do I want to 'PICK' a class I think is fun and would like to kill other players with only to find out that the class I enjoy is the one that is [Removed for Content]. This doesn't have to be answered vs. ALL other classes but more of a general rule.

ie. Currently the Fury class seems to be doing the best in PvP

Are there any other choices? I'm polling to see which are some of the top PvP classes, so I have something to choose from.

The classes that people cry nerf on the most ie swash/brig/fury/warden.

To me what matters more is playing a class you enjoy rather than a class that is a "top pvp class".

Assassin pretty much sucks for pvp...since all your attacks are positional.
eh for a warden to be a pain u'll need to have all ur heals adept 3 and have your aa's for melee's maxed. PLus its kind of dam expensive lol. A fury though is truly the way to go. You get strike of thunder master 2 which will nuke for like 800 or so. Then you have the the furies 2 dots which cast really fast and stop anyone from invising or stealthing away and really tack on the dmg. Add to it that they can heal themselves and snare and root ur [Removed for Content] and you got a winner. Now if I were going to pick another class id go brig for the lower tiers. Simply because they have a variety of spells that decrease mig and slow, stun, snare, knockback or anything else. Nothing gets away from those once they get that first hook in. lol unless its a 1 of those rangers on pcp... er I mean pathfinding rangers.

If you are looking for a good class that isn't too hard, I'd go with just about any scout - rogue or predator, you can't go wrong. Though, assasin is a bit of a challenge with positional attacks *and* stealth requirements. If you want to roll with Qeynos, I recommend either Ranger or Swashbuckler. If Freeport floats your boat, then Brigand.

The thing I don't like about Rangers is having to always dish out gold to buy arrows.

Not very many, and neither of the 2 biggest hitters have any positional requirement. And the fwe positionals I have are pretty [Removed for Content] easy to get off imho.
