Even when most of time the other puny races attack us in large numbers. We are much feared so most will not engage our incredible power with out 6 or more. And still when we fall it is with a enemy throat in each hand

Lol I can see an ogre going down in battle. Just picture it.

On the deserts of the commonlands, dust being swirled around everywhere, chain and metal armor clanking, swords swinging and clinking agaisnt each others, arrows whizzing by, and the shouts of battle are heard. An ogre in full plate mail throws away his club and decides to tear his enemies apart with his hands, giving way to his battle lust. Grabbing an enemy soldier by the throat in each hand, he lifts them up and brings them close to his face, letting loose a massive roar. All of a sudden, a spear tip is thrusted through the back of his armor, and two arrors find their mark at his neck, where this armor comes together. The massive ogre falls slowly backwards to the ground, his enemies still clutched by their throats. As life fades from the ogre, his grip loosens, and the soldiers pry his giant hands from their necks.

The metal armor that was designed to protect them from the edges of swords, were crushed by the pure strength of the giant being. The two soldiers were lucky that their throats werent completely crushed in, for a few seconds longer they would not be breathing. Injured from their wounds, large bruises formed at their necks and juggler vains and soon the sound of battle drew farther and farther away. Blackness takes them, and they to fall on the ground. A few minutes later, a preistess of the goddess Tunare runs over and leans over them, whispering an elven chant. With a wave of her hand, their swollen necks shrink, and blood once again flows to the fallen soldiers heads. They awake with a start and smile. This will be a good story when we get home..

Yeah.. didnt mean to go that long, but didnt want to stop. Just had that scene in my head when OP'er said about the throat thing

Rottk

Nagafen
