Why does it seem unbelievably hard for you to set system up so that the customers know whats going on with a given patch launch day? example:   /yawn, hey its patch day! Loads eq2 Launchpad notes, say all servers are down(last I had checked, it has said this for like 3 weeks?) coo, np big patch prolly takes time. Time goes by, Still no patch notes posted(hardly ever b4 the end of day of a patch day) I mean these days do SPRING upon you suprisingly....... Goes to Chat room, 99% of time its locked down, by no one of obvious choice, and YET, scrolling across the top...it states "ALL SERVER'S ARE UP! ENJOY YOUR ADVENTURES IN NORRATH!" IM in no hurry to get in game, these are just some basic questoins as to why it seems launchpad seems to be the most unupdating piece of info you offer to the game. Just seems there shouldbe a  more informative, and EFFICIENT way of communicating with your customer base.

My cynical and smart tush responses would be... Since there is no customer service department this kind of thing isn't nearly as important as you paying your fees and filling the pockets of the foreign conglomerate. The problem isn't that they are slow in updating these notices... I mean, what time is it in Hyderabad? (Well, I think maybe they are ahead so maybe it is a problem.) The programmer who set up the customer service bot is on vacation and well the script froze up because its using a Druzaic Calendar which is incompatible with Vista. Oops, their dog ate the notes so the assignment wasn't completed on time. From the Office of SOE Consumer Affairs: We do not condone any negativity... So shush and have another Mt Dew and some cheesy puffs. As it so happens all the evil fae have taken over SOE and are running amok. Don't they know not to feed them after midnight?????
