I am going to be making one to day after i get home from work and I need some info. I have not been able to find a list of the starting stats or racial traits for the Arasai, so I have no idea what will be available. They will probably have a low strength I am sure. I do plan on making it a battle cleric to fit a concept I had of a militant fairy cleric for a game that will never exist. I have read what I could find for the battle cleric and there seems to be some disagreement on what to do first. Stamina first or go into the battle cleric line? Should I go down strength since mine will most likely be very low? I am sure there will be a lot of 'How do I build a Arasai <insert class>?' posts starting today so i thought I would get started early. Thanks for any help.

I think no matter what you want to do with your Inquis (raid, solo, group) the STA line is a must have. If you're planning on mostly soloing then going down STR might not be a bad idea. But, if you want to group or raid, going down the INT line is probably a better choice. Group members or gear can always buff your STR further way more than 4-8 points of STR in your cleric line can. As for the battle cleric line it's not too bad to have no matter what you want to do but I just put in the minimum 20 points necessary to get the final Battle Cleric attribute and then I started putting points into the detriment line (bonus to our debuffs). I've found that combination has allowed me to role solo, group, or raid rather well.

when i started my battle cleric i went down sta first to get the 100% crit chance. that worked ok, but dps was still slow and my spells often got interrupted soloing (even with max focus). i think if you want to solo a lot then going down the Battle Line first will be much more helpful. it took me to about lvl 35 till i started filling the battle lines, and thats when my dps really took off so my personal suggestion would be battle first, then sta. with sta/battle filled out im working now on the agi line ( 4-4-8 ) to get the +40dps boost. the 8 points i have left in the cleric AA tree will probably get dropped into str for the stat boost until i think of something better. arasai stats & racial traditions from http://eq2i.com/articles/Arasai_%28...aracter_Race%29 Stats: Strength: 10 Agility: 30 Stamina: 10 Intelligence: 25 Wisdom: 25 Resists: Mental: 1 Heat: 1 Cold: 1 Magic: 4 Divine: 2 Poison: 4 Disease: 4 Escaping Dive Area Hate Reduction and 10-meter teleport Instant (recast 30 minutes) Fae Fire Three heat damage attacks 20 seconds (recast 15 minutes) Aerial Dodging +5 Defense Permanent Glide Allows caster to jump farther Permanent Arasai's Endurance +1 In-combat Power Regen per 10 levels (starting at 2 at level 10)Permanent Arasai's Flight +5% In and out-of-combat Run Speed Permanent Magic Protection +3% Magic Resistance Permanent Arasai Savvy +5 Intelligence Permanent N eriak Precision +5 Artificing Permanent Transmograpy +5 Transmuting Permanent most people will tell you that race really doesnt matter in the long run as most of the str/weaknesses of each race will be balanced out. of course with all fairies, glide is wonderful

Since I will start gained AA points at level 10 do you still suggest putting points into the battle line straigh off even though I don't get the spell for the first ability until 18th?

Ok, I have three more questions. 1. How many points should I put into each ability bfore moving to the next one? I know 3 is the minimum, but should I put in 5 before adding points to the next ability? 2. Is there any order I should get the Battle Cleric AAs in or should I skip any? 3. I know it is apples and oranges, but how does an Inquisitor solo compared to a Shadowknight? I have been thinking that both classes would fit the concept of the character.

I went for Invocation Strike -> Cleansing Fire, so I could get it early, as my INQ is being locked at 20.

personaly ifind that even solo'ing ill take int line over str because the increased casting speed realy helps get off your heals when ur getting interupted

the faster you can heal yourself and others the better

ok First you pull offf the wings

then u season with salt and ... uh ... oh nevermind

SKs will solo better definately but they need Tap Veins at lv55 to exel at it. They also get Evac and Feing Death, two great get out of jail cards.

I'd go down Battle Cleric first. I'd pick Strike, Fire and the AOE with the first 9 points. Fill those 3 first and then go for the 4th one to finish out BC. Then go for the melee crits in STA.

On PvP, AGI and STR lines are great for interrupts and the Shield Mezz. 4/4/8 on those 2 lines along with STA is great for DPS but your healing suffers. Going STA/INT is the way to go if you want to be a decent healer.
