Quest sharing - anyone tried this scenario yet?

<p>Has anyone tried the following -</p><p> There are many quest which are alignment specific because the NPC's wont talk to you unless you are of their alignment. Has anyone tried to share those quest with players of the opposite alignment yet? (Seeing as the quest sharing checks toon level, pre-req quests needed and type of quest but wasnt sure if this would get through or not)</p><p> Just wondering if it works - </p>

<p>Simple answer is no. </p><p>Quest sharing has conditions. You can't, for instance, share Heritage Quests. For regular quests the person you wish to share with must meet the criteria for obtaining that quest on their own. If alignment is the issue, ONLY those of the proper alignment can share.</p>

I was hoping that I could get those quests from a Freeportian where I matched all criteria but couldnt get them from the NPC due to alignment. </p><p>Oh bah - I am going to try this tonight anyway and see what happens - will report tomorrow....</p>

<p>You can share city writs but you can't share Qeynos writs with Freeporters or, I assume, vice versa.</p><p>And you can't share a writ that the receiver has already done. This is true of all repeatable quests, they can be shared to someone once but then not again.</p><p>And you can't share a writ if they already have a writ from the same faction in their journal and incomplete.</p>
