Puhlease! This is not a disease. There is nothing wrong with adding to your enjoyment of the game by experiencing the game through different classes, in different cities, or with different rule set servers. Or on different regular servers with different player communities. Play as many alts as you desire.

I have three station accounts just to have one of everything......now if i wanted to, i could reroll some on two of the accounts and dump the third.

Nah, that would take too much work

I cannot believe i spend 90 bucks on eq2 a month. sony should give me a chucklehead discount or something.

I had 10 toons, but deleted a level 40 zerk to make room for a Fae. Decided I didn't really like being a fae, so deleted it and was leaving the slot open for a Sarnak. But with 12 slots available soon. . . I might use a couple more and take myself to 11, keeping that last slot for a Sarnak. . . .

For what I currently have, see my sig

I used to have 20 characters on station access, 10 US and 10 EU. Since the pvp merge I had to delete a bunch, and I currently have 11. A lvl70 and 10 others between about 13 and 46

I'm in a whole guild of alt-aholics. 14 accounts and about 8 actual players. Though Rob, if you're not playing other Sony games, ditch the Station Access and open a second account. 7 slots per acct, so 14 total instead of the 12 on Station Access, for the same cost.

Well let's see I have 12 alts on the US servers. At least 5 on the EU servers. 11 on test. That doesn't count 6 toons on Vanguard and 8 on DDO. No really I can quit making alts anytime I want. No really.

I'm with ya!

In any MMO I've played in since starting them with LoY in EQ I have never had a max character.

EQ - I played on FV so I kept rerolling and never got passed 27 before I left around GoD.

AO - never got past 77 out of 200+ levels

DaoC - never past 20. Played this and AO til WoW came out.

WoW - Highest was a 44 Orc Hunter. Had one of every class ranging from 29 - 44.

EQ2 - Currently a dirge at 8 . Only been here 2.5 weeks though but I have been deleting and rerolling like a mad man to get a feel for all classes and then, hopefully, play one to max level.

I don't know if I get bored, well that's not entirely true, I do get bored. Just don't understand why. Once bored I start a new toon and rarely go back to the one I left. And, now with 24 choices, but not enough slots, I am hoping this game will help cure me

I need more hours in the day to play all the characters I want fully. I have my wizard on AB (Rijacki) and my dirge on Guk (Ohelia) that are my mains for different reasons. I have 2 accounts and both are nearly full. I have two dirges (low level) on AB, a conjurer/carpenter on Guk, a mystic on AB, a paladin on AB, a ranger on AB, a coercer on Test, an assassin/alchemist on Test, and a few others... I can't delete most of them because they have background stories in my head and still want to do more with their.. umm.. lives. I'll be rolling a coercer arasai today after I get home from work (and patch, unless my boyfriend can kick it off before he leaves for work). Oh.. and I had 3 accounts in EQ1 since I played on Firiona Vie and could only have 1 character per account. I had 4 accounts in SWG (part for other characters and part for the storage space). I am doing better in EQ2, only 2 accounts (got the second a few months after release) and I only feel the itch to get a 3rd or make one a station access account about once every 2 months *laugh*.

Hi Rob! You know, they say the first step to recovery, is admitting you have a problem. However, I don't think you NEED to recover I just think you need more alts!!!!!

I personally have 3 station access accounts, I play a little vanguard here and there as well....but mostly I spend my time here in EQ2 on Vox.

3 accounts, currently 19 toons.....all on Vox pvp my boyfriend is worse though... 4 accounts and I dont even know how many toons.

So many toons, so little time. I wish there was enough time in the day to give enough attention to all my toons. Some I know are feeling sorely neglected.

Half of my guild, I think I can honestly say are altaholics. I think we have more "so-and-so has logged out" "so-and-so's alt has logged in" per hour in my guild than most guilds get in a day!!

Just open a second account and transfer characters to it. Of course, that costs $50 each character, so you're not saving much money for awhile!

I have 4 accounts. Even created a one man guild, just recently started allowing others to join my guild on Crushbone Ancient Wizards Highest level char is 60th with 20+ ALTs

Check out my roster for the others.

I run all 4 accounts on ONE PC.

Started with 2 accounts then tried a 3rd still worked well and was able to utilize all 3 ok, now I'm on 4 and it still works great, had to pick classes that could be utilized by only a few clicks....macro to have pet attack and then queue up spell casts.

Thinking about trying a 5th but I truely think it would be too much for my current system.

P4 3.4 Ghz HT, 2 GB ram, 512 ATI X1800 video card.

I run ONE window on Balanced and the other 3 on Extreme Performance.

Myself and my G/F have six accounts for a total of 48 alts (2 Station Access, 4 Regular) Between us we have two of each class and several of each race. Busy busy busy!
