Locked mail, can't send or be sent items or text

As topic says, since yesterday night I cannot send a mail to my own characters and a friend who tried to mail my characters cannot send me anything. I can bring up the "Send" tab of the mailbox and either type some text or attach a gift, but when I click send everything seems locked up. I can click hotkeys but not use mouselooking, the mail won't go out, but stand there in limbo. If I close the mailbox I can play normally, but if I go again to the "send" tab the issue repeats. I have to log a different character to unlock it, but no matter which one I use, it'll eventually get locked like detailed above with me being unable to mail a single item. To be more clear: this seems to happen only when on the receiving hand there is one of my characters. If anyone is experiencing something similar or knows what could cause it, I'd appreciate a suggestion. I already did a petition about  this. Thanks.

<p>Could your box be full?</p><p>If there are too many old messages in it you can't recieve anymore... not sure if it would effect sending mail though.  But, try deleting your old mail.</p>

<p>Miele,</p><p> I had this problem several months ago.  Through much trial and error I figured out that mail could be sent only to my character (any character) if it was currently online.  Thus the game would not let me send mail to an alt, because of course the alt was not online at the time.  A friend could not send mail to my characters unless it was to the one I was currently online with.  </p><p>Once I had figured all this out, I filed a petition.  Never heard back... but the problem was suddenly fixed a the next time the server patched.  If you are having the same problem I did, then I am in hopes that you will be fixed after the patch today.  </p><p>Please post and let us know!</p>

Yesterday evening I spent about 1 hour with a nice and friendly GM. My mail boxes weren't full at all, probably not even at half capacity, but with his help, we emptied them completely, one character a time. I could mail other people, in fact I could send the GM a text only mail (didn't try with attachments). I still couldn't send text or items to my own characters. As of today at lunch time (I'm from EU) the problem persisted and my petition is still currently open. The petition has been escalated to a senior GM and I'm awaiting for a solution still. It may be as <b>ShaylinFairheart</b> said, I can't tell. About the plat seller, I definitely am not one, because I think I have no mails sent to any accounts but mine and my gf one and the only thing the sellers/spammers get from me is a new collection of insults each time they /tell me something <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>is there a fix to this i am having a problem it is some what the same i will go in more detail above</p><p>I have 3 accounts</p><p>account 1 is mine</p><p>account 2 is my wifes</p><p>account 3 is our alt account crafting and trying new char's</p><p>ACCT 1 can send to all char on acct 1 and acct 2</p><p>ACCT 2 can send to all char on accr 1 and 2</p><p>Acct 3 can send to all Char on all accounts </p><p>Acct 1 can send mail to CHAR 1 on acct 3 but can not send mail to CHAR 2 on acct 3</p><p>Acct 2 can send mail to Char 2 on acct 3 but not Char 1 on acct 3</p><p>we get message "your Mail can not be sent for an unknown reason"</p>
