<p>Just got this spell at lvl 59 but not sure how useful it will be.</p><p>If I am the MT in the group giving some of my mitigation to another player (the healer I suspect) doesnt sound like a good idea as I will take more damage, making the healer work harder.</p><p>If there is someone else in the group as MT then I can see this would make sense.</p><p>Have I missed something here please ? </p>

Pledge is very handy, even at 70 there are and can be times you can use it to boost your MT's mit in raids. I know some guilds I use to raid with in the early days those of us who had Pledge gave it to them, until they were geared up. Sometimes when in a group set up you can do it as well if your not MT, and going dps role. Just my 2cp.

I could see it coming up huge if you either lose aggro for a period or adds come up and start hitting on the softer members of the group...you'll take a little more damage, but maybe save someone from dieing until you get aggro under control.
