So confused about Arena champions.... ugg.

So maybe someone here could clear this up. First off, as I have read, for the player characters arena match, characters are scaled down to what ever level the arena is set at. Right? Well just a bit ago I started an arena, level 20. Two other characters got on, a 43 and a 70. They still showed as 43 and 70, and nothing was scaled down in terms of their armor or spells (unless it's normal for a lvl 20 character to do 1000 dmg nukes). So I dunno what's up with that... is it a recent bug? I tried remaking the arena but it was the same way. Secondly, WHERE THE HECK IS THE ARENA MASTER? You know, the guy who you buy the arena champion monsters from? I've been running all over Qeynos looking for someone to buy the monsters from but to no avail. Everything keeps telling me that you can buy the champions right outside of the Arena door.... but, there isnt anyone. Am I blind? Or just confused? Please help!

Please help! </blockquote>The arena master is outside the arena in Maj'Dul. And a lvl 20 mage will be kicking out 1k nukes. but I dont think the arena ever scaled people down.

arena does not scale people down as far as i know...u can only restrict levels in the creating of it, and it just raises the cap of the levels able to enter it. u can be mentered in arena to scale it down but as we all know a lvl 70 is far more dangerous then someone ur level even if he scaled down....and such as cas like decap on an assassin ....he can use decap even if he mentered to a low level...damage is reduced but i hits like a ton of bricks in the arena....arena is pve based. no pvp damage nerfs.

You can stop level 20's from entering a 70 arena, but not 70's from entering a 20 arena.</p><p>If you want things to scale down, you need to have everybody mentor you and then switch to whatever team they want to be on. The mentoring will persist.</p>
