I have a SK that I'm leveling now and some day I'd like to take him out on raids (currently raid exclusively with my Fury)....If I was going to solo or group strictly I would prob run down the STR line and then sprinkle throughout the INT and STA (and maybe other lines) as the end line AAs don't jump out at me.

Given I'm looking to raid with him though I was looking down the WIS line and liking that there are some group buffs that I can also contribute to my raid group with - namely the end line one. Anyone tested how the different spells along this line work in relation to an SKs overall contribution while grouping or raiding? Just looking at the number/stats, I'm not sure the group buffs (or the benefit of said buffs) are very "heavy".

Am I better off just maxing INT and focusing on DPS (even though I'll never be comparable to a true DPS class or get a raid slot over one)?

I'm not in the position to be a raid tank so that is not a concern.

Only thing that is worth doing down wis line imo is the group skill buff (forgetting name atm). Our MT for raids is a SK and he is speced down for that buff and its nice. Depending what group your in it lowers resists on pretty much every spell increases chance to hit mobs and lowers pr on heals (ministration). so its good if your support and you can prob spec to be dps with it still (only go for that skill think its battle leadership) then go for spell crit then go for melee crit and all.

Ya it is Battle Leadership. Is kinda nice, adds +34 to all spell casting abilities as well as slash/pierce/crushing. Makes it easier to consistantly hit the lvl 75 epic mobs.

Heal crit for a sk is WASTED. I will say have said and will forever continue to say that heal crit is there for paladins not sk's. Get 4 4 8 in int line and move on. All life taps crit off spell crit so if you crit the dmg off a life tap you will also crit the heal potion of it. Getting heal crit has no effect on any of your life taps so its wasted points. Most SK's will take 3 trees stead of 2 (as most classes only choose 2). Go 4 4 8 in Int line (a must have imo). Then choose 2 other paths you wanna focus on (or 1 other and throw every point you got in that particular path if thats your fancy). If you choose 2 paths you can go a variety of ways as you please and this is where wis line would be most effective as you get BL to 8 and move on also. If you choose just 1 more path other than 4 4 8 int go down either Sta or Str. Sta is great for tanking melee crit divine aura aoe and 4% extra hp in Sta. Or Haste and hate for Str.

Thanks again for the insight - I totally would have wasted aa on the heal crit.
