Ive been an avid player of Eq2 since the PvP servers 1st went live, but I have to admit my patience is wearing thin.

There are hundreds and hundreds of posts on this forum from players with VALID concerns on the current PvP system and none of them seem to be acknowledged from the powers that be. There are classes in this game that scream nerf and at the same time classes that barely move masters off the brokers because they are so useless in PvP.

Just a simple "yes we know scouts and druids are needing some balancing" would suffice, but no, we get nothing.

Well Mr Dev, should you read this post I implore you to pass along some information to us paying customers, the ones you built this pvp enviroment to entertain, before some of the up and coming PvP based games get our business.

Nagafen

Scout vs Druid server.

I wouldnt say only cos they a bit overpowered in solo pvp, they broke and need a nerf... actually the whole game works out very good when it comes to group pvp.. and i believe thats the way its intended My warlock is a very easy target in solopvp, but when i get a nice group i can be quite deadly... so i guess its fair that i have to live with disadvantages in solopvp

if the devs responded to every little whine on the forums they would never get anythign done scouts arent overpowered in pvp, just that most people play thier game thinking its a solo experience. If you want to pwn solo and want balance, play deathmatch games. Scouts cant kill EVERYONE just a large majority of other classes. The same goes for most classes, they have thier strengths and weaknesses, im sure if a large % decided they all wanted to solo play healers or mages or whatever you would cry a nerf.

Im not one to flame as I rarely post.

But I have a lvl 70 warlock and a level 70 Swash. I do know the differences between strengths and weaknesses in this game, and coming from a scout the class is rediculously overpowered in PvP. You can use the "dont solo pvp" argument only so much. The bottom line is that a well balanced group up against a group of scouts with a healer is still going down. I myself have been in a number of devistating groups consisting of 4 scouts and 2 druids. group stealth, insane damage, track, interupts out the wazoo, HOTs, pact of the cheetah, insta heals, taunts, evacs, portal spells. In pvp this group is the king of all predators.

But I digress, this is not a balance post, it is a post wondering why the Devs have vacated these forums. We have no feedback into what's currently being looked at, whats coming in the future and even what changes we'll see in the next patch (have to read that ourselves in the patch notes). How about some customer relations, how about some info, it's really not that much to ask for.

Today for the 1st time since the release of EQ2 pvp I started looking at other games because I have no clue as to the future of EQ2 pvp.

Here we go again. No, druids are not overpowered.

They are, but only at T2 and T3. Unlock XP and go to T7 if you don't like it. Or roll anti-class (illusionist).

Question: In PvE, if a caster is soloing, and their roots break and they start getting pounded by a mob, do they die faster than other classes? In PvE, does it take longer for a scout to get pounded to death by a mob? In PvE, do casters do big damage, but take big damage too? In PvE, do scouts do big damage, yet mitigate damage a little better?

I don't think it's unbalanced. Why should they change the way classes work just because it's PvP? Same game, different rules.
