Is there any type of AA talent calculator? I come from a long background of gaming in daoc/lineage2/wow. I just hit 17 with my shadowknight. I am pretty decked out. My friend that has helped me doesnt know much about shadow knights since he has never played one. He mainly plays casters etc. I have played tanks before in the previous games i have mentioned very sucessfully. I hear many people say get 4 4 8 int ? How many Aa points does it take to get 4 4 8 int? I guess im a little lost on the aa system. I understand how it levels etc. I saw that there are different lines and rows but normally i just see people typing without spaces 448 int. For right now I was going deep in stamina right away. So far grinding away is no problem. I am mainly in all pristine armor for my level. Should I continue in this ? Lineage 2 had a great macro system. From what I have seen so far. Eq2 Does indeed have a superior macro system. Are there any posts by shadowknights explaining there macro system setup? Thanks in advance. Since there are just so many spells the shadowknight has. Im trying to figure out which are the most effective combinations to use when soloing single mobs and mulitple mobs (aoe). Thanks in advance

(1 point for the starter skill)

Thanks for that. I got thrown off by the whole way it was typed by a few people. Thats what i figured it meant. But you never know. I thought endgame it gave you a additional 448 int rofl. heh. Thanks alot I Would apreciate any other advice? especialy about the macros ive been yet to find what it means to set primary feature in the macro? What does this specifically mean?

I use this site to help me plan my AA trees and to view the skills while offline

Macros: 1) ReactiveHeal / DamageShield on self Intercede on trigger happy player 2) Equip hammer Hammer Ground Tap Veins 3) Equip Axe Whatever that KoS Str line axe required thingy is 4) /g Evaccing in 3sec, group hug ! escape 5) /e Sticks out his foot and deftly trips %t Mortal Embrace (Fake death) 6) une head ; une shoulders .... (my crafting macro - une is short for unequip) 7) 2 Seperate macros to equip all standard gear Equip DPS gear macro 9) Equip Bow (I normally have a symbol in the ranged slot) Ward Self Nuke/Slow (forget its name) autoattack 2 (ranged) /g %t is staggering slowly towards us 10) Sorta goes with 9) Taunt (low range single target one) autoattack 1 (melee) Eqiup symbol (to RANGED slot) 11) targetnone (not sure thats the corrrect spelling) autoattack 0 (used to stop attacking when mezz or somethign is needed - use the dove icon for it ) Those are the ones I can think of offhand. I have a couple more incoming in 10, incoming now etc macros, but they are pretty self explanatory. Some SKs put Deathmarch on a macro with /g comment, so the group knows when to nuke etc - I'd rather keep them guessing A macro on rescue might be a good idea to let people know its down for a bit, never got around to it though

Im realy having a diffucult time getting into the skill system. From my knowledge as of now since the spells keep upgrading every 8-10 levels. Not only the spell gets replaced. But, Your pretty much need to upgrade it and get mastery to make it worth while?

In this area of the game. I think that world of warcrafts basic system of ranks of skills is way better. Rank x at certain level. I dont mind the component of needing to get a book to upgrade the skill but in my opinion it seems sort of out of wack.

How would you suggest dealing with this trend. I do have a cash flow from a friend that realy wants me to play mt. I sorta love playing defensive even when farming. Is something wrong with me for wanting to play like that? Im at level 30 now. Taunt I have Master 1. I wasnt sure how to obtain master 2 in taunt? im guesing its crafted or very rare? Im noticing the spelll books some are fabled and have a increase in the effect of the spell etc. Its a nice concept. I just hate how it doesnt transfer over from when you get the new spell at x level.

What should I do.

It makes the game very expensive, too expensive imo. The plat sellers LOVE this system. Finally, it just doesn't add any fun to the game, in fact it lessens it. It really puts me off on playing alts. (Sorry about the rant.)

Master II's are freebies you get every ten levels, starting at level 14, I think. You get a choice of one out of four to upgrade, upgrade blessings or taunts with this.

You can get away with adept I's until the end game, where you will need Master's to compete, if you raid. Adept I's should be very affordable. Of course Masters help a ton. When you do get masters focus on your blessings and taunts. I put blessings first because they are real crucial to our survival as tanks.

Of course you can get Adept III's more easily then Masters, mine those nodes for the rare loams. Generally you can buy the rare loams more cheaply, sometimes significantly so, then the spells/ca's themselves and have someone make it for you. If you do this, do your homework and give the crafter all the matts and fuel required.
