simple question do i go for the +7 parry or the +vs crushing, slashing etc, was looking to get the +7 to parry but at 10+pp on the server i wanted to check what most other tanking monks went for!

It depends on your playing style. If you want to be a solid tank, go for mitigation adornment. If you solo a lot and play a dps role in group, parry is a better choice.
