I just got into EQ2

buying EoF was nice because I could catch up on everything, now the question becomes: What adventure packs do I want to get? What level are they appropriate for?

I suppose I could research a little bit, but I figured from the mouth of players > a sales pitch

thanks in advance

If you want to level up from 1 to 50 without traveling around the world, then buy Splitpaw. The zones adapt thier levels to yours, so you always have a challenge.

Fallen Dynasty is a must for anyone regardless.

I personally enjoyed Fallen Dynasty of all the adv. packs.

Falen Destiny is the best by far, but it is also for higher level toons. So, if you don't have a toon up there in levels then you can wait on it. Still though, it is a must. Two of the coolest looking raid mobs in the game are there, along with very cool solo/group/raid quests and content.

I personally don't like Splitpaw, but it is good for grinding and had a couple cool things.

I can't remember what the first one was called, which should say something

Only buy Fallen Dynasty when you get to lvl 55-60.

There really is no reason for the other two since no ONE plays either of them and their mostly barren for that matter.

Weren't we promised 2 Adventure paks a year? It's coming up on 3 years in a few months and going to average only 1 per year. I always like new content, whether Adventure Pack or Expansion. I joined 'All Station' to get them (as well as EQ1, SWG etc all one account). But I've heard of nothing new coming.

Vampire Caves. EXCELENT fun for Mid 30's to 40's. (Vampire Strike is reward at end). I've run through that with all of my characters. Solo Dungeons to side which are fun to grind or loot. (Group instances as well). But the Main Dungeon is good wholesome group from for 34ish to 44ish. A x3 Raid Zone as well in there.

I have to agree with the consensus, Fallen Dynasty is great! I highly recommend this for your higher level toons. I am currently working on this "new" zone for my Illusionist. I haven't had a chance to do anything yet with Bloodline Chronicles but when I start concentrating on my lower level toons I plan to let them play there. I've heard terrible things about Splitpaw so I didn't get that adventure pack. I did the digital download and it took about 20 mins to get both downloaded.

(Unrest, DFC Revamp, Neriak and Dark Light Woods + Arasai)

I think the concept of adventure packs hasn't worked as planned. It would be better if SOE rolled the content into the main game and focused on expansions in the future. That way we would get better quality content without creating distractions for the dev team

Fallen Dynasty is the Only one I could recomend geting. And only if you get a guild where lots of people there have it. I think the whole Idea of adventure packs was a bad idea from the begening. The content is very small and out of the way. (Except Fallen Dynasty nice little bell on the Nek Forest Docks) I never liked Bloodline chronicals. Splitpaw saga was fun when it came out but they nerfed the exp and the drops so its not worth going to anymore. And Bloodline and Splitpaw zones are just dead compleately dead. I think partialy cuz they were 7 bucks and weren't really worth it then they got nerfed so they werent any good. I really like the freecontent they are giveing us because so far it is fun and usefull. Unrest was a Ton of fun but very chalengeing. I'm gonig to be makeing a new char when Neriak goes live. And I'm hopeing they will maybe give us the Ocean of Tears in the next LU after Neriak. It would be neat to have the boats stop there before getting to BBM. I think it would make the world feel bigger and I think it would be a neat zone to see again with some fun quests out there to do. And maybe have it a 20-30 zone for peole to go to when they reach there 20s in Darklight woods.
