I made a signature file for the character Dreyco's son

Taking a black and white image, I colored it in photoshop, then used PS again to piece together the signature itself...

It's one of my first attempts... but i'd like some constructive feedback.

Thanks!

Not bad! I do have a few suggestions, though, since you asked...

- If you're planning on using this image on these forums, remember that you're only allowed 500x150 for your entire sig -- text and images. This image is currently 500x206.

- I think that different fonts and font colors will better reflect the fact that he's an Iksar and/or a Warden. Plain white Times and Courier are very generic, and using a font with more personality and in a more suitable color will help add interest. (I recommend browsing dafont.com!)

- I'd like to encourage you to explore your available canvas space. There's a lot of room to be had on a 500x150 sig (or if you don't resize this one, on a 500x206 sig, hehe), and you can do all kinds of interesting things with it, both in the foreground and in the background.

- A border will help define the boundaries of your sig and tie everything together.

- I think the original artwork adds a nice touch, but more could be done to bring the image further into the foreground, such as adding a drop-shadow or a glow effect.

I think you have a good start here, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.

I've always had a severe lack of fonts. Thanks for the link and the tips! I'll see what more I can do with this thing.
