Hey everyone, I recently rerolled a Mystic - he's level 8 now - and I need some help. I wish him to be a healer that can also deal good DPS so that I can both solo and play in groups. I've understood that wisdom increases healing power and power supply, so I will try to get as much wisdom as possible... But what stat(s) would improve my DPS? I also wouldn't mind if you shared some opinions on how I should fight - should use spells for damage and debuffs, or just autoattack and try to get powerful weapons to deal lots of damage? And what AAs should I use?

When you get a debuff that reduces the enemies resistance to noxious and elemental,  use it early on. Keep your dots on your enemy.   In the lower levels make sure to use your solo heroic opportunity. Find a slow weapon so you can mix casting between swings of of your weapon,  But I don't think you're weapon will be your primary source of damage untill you spend AA points on the lines that help that. You will get bufs that will give you tremendous strength that will help your weapon damage later.  Your probably won't really need to search for that stuff.  If you don't go for all the melee AA's you'll still have some casting damage that int will help do more damage.  I'm not sure if the dots that triggered off of melee hits are influenced by strength or by int though so perhaps others will answer that.

Wisdom increases your power pool and improves your resists, but only spell upgrades improve the potency of your healing spells. Melee damage is affected by strength for all classes. Intelligence improves spell damage for all classes.

Thank you for help. I'll just see what kind of play style suits me best, then.
