Yes. You must chain cast (and it helps to have a large HP as its a percent based thing). Out of combat, I toggle it off sometimes as it does make out of combat HP regen much slower. Its a VERY useful ability for solo/groups without a priest (which is the reason I haven't given it up for the Pools of Blood line despite that being arugably a better tanking line).

I really enjoy the reaving line. Was doing Labs last night and was parsing 5th sometimes 4th on the healing parse (thats with 5 healers in the raid also). So the heals help alot even with the percent lose that it has.

<p>I tihnk it depends on who and what your fighting but i like it 9 times outa 10 about the only time i dont like it is on duels going against folks with 60%+ resist in our damage type can be a waste. </p><p>Also if your in a tuff fight and outa mana i use to turn it off cause without mana you cant cast enough to make it worth it but now instead of that i have a hot bar of low level masters that are very cheap to cast and keep me proc'ing it while regening my mana back. This works great to keep yourself alive & regen mana, your not doing nearly as much dps but thats not as important as living atm...</p>

<p>The next time you are out with a group with a single healer run a parser that shows healing. If you are using your skills regularly you'll notice that you are doing anywhere from 20%-40% of the healing. This of course does not include tanking large raids like Labs or Lyceum. Virtually all of your skills will trigger Reaver including your taunts, and it works very very will with Tap Veins.</p>

When duoing or grouping against multiple mobs,  I time the uses of Tap Veings and Unending misery as it casuses multiple triggers of Reaver to go off.  It ahs definitely upgraded Tap Veins without altering it directly.  Also Healing with tants rocks.  I have honestly not ever died from having it on, not even close, but the ehaling it provides is substantial over time.  If you really want to be an A-hole for 10 minutes, use Strifes Curse from the Inny line in conjunction with reaver and mutilate everything possible whiole you do nothing but sit at full power and health chain casting away.  The alternatively best use for it I have found as well is clicky items, any offensive clicky item you have such as the Thermal Shocker or the item which uses Corpse Fire etc will basically trigger extra heals for you while you wait for your timers to recharge.  Added in with the KoS Str line can make this a badass ability if used correctly.  The drawdown that Antryg mentioned is really the only inconvenience I have noticed.  When using this ability, it's not about how much damage the ability you use to trigger it does, it's about 2.5% health coming back your way for every use.

<p>The reaver line is great!  You do however need to be chain casting your CA's.  I duo quite a bit, and this AP line helps considerable. </p><p>PS Did find out recently that our grp taunt will cause the Reaver to proc on all the mobs that the taunt lands on.</p>

As does the mit debuff. Quite nice.
