Hello everyone! I've recently returned to EQ2 after an extended break and have a question about the betrayal quest. Recently Ive considered betraying Kelethin on my Warden to Freeport, however, when I do this I was curious to know if I will have the option of picking Warden or Fury? Reason I ask is I'm rather interested in trying a Fury for a change of pace. Also if anyone happens to know, who is the fellow that I would need to speak with to betrayl Kelethin and become an Exile? Thanks folks!

Yes you can change class to fury. Once you finish the Betrayal and have got enough faction with the city you are betraying to you need to speak to either the warden or the fury trainer to choose either warden or fury. Trainers for healers are in the Temple of War in NFP. To start betrayal in kelethin you need to talk to <a href="http://eq2i.com/articles/Saelir_Varryn" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Saelir Varryn</a> in Kelethin. EDIT: I copied and pasted the name and the link came with it. Don't click if you don't want cheats.

Yes, after you betray, and have done all of your factioning for your new city, finished the new city tasks given to you, your final step is to choose your "new" class. It's at this time you'll be able to choose Fury (by speaking with the Fury trainer) instead of Warden. In Kelethin, you need to speak to a male Fae who wanders the same platform as the Fighter Guild. He hangs out behind the central trunk on the upper tier of the platform. <strike>Wish I could remember his name</strike> (person above gave name <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). Would it also be possible to Betray to Exile from Kelethin, then regain Kelethin faction to switch to a Fury as well? (Just realized I really dont wanna tear my house...acorn apart *chuckles* and I wont loose if it I go to an exile right?)

Should be possible. If you cant go directly from exile to kelethin then you could always go Exile>Qeynos Qeynos>Kelethin. Yes you can betray to exile then get enough faction with your original city and change your class if neutral.

Unless they fixed it, there is absolutely no way anyone can go straight from Exile > Kelethin citizenship. I remember a patch awhile back mentioning addressing people leaving Kelethin being let back in, but I haven't tested it so can't confirm. All I do know is when I exiled my Fae, and tried to regain faction: 1) I had to use my 30 hits absorb AP ability to get past the guards to get to the initial NPC in the Royal Court to speak to her and finish the intial quest. 2) After that was completed, I still did not have enough faction with Kelethin for the Registrar to begin giving me faction quests to work on my faction. I hope this has changed since then and you have better luck; just be weary that this may still be how it works and it would be better advice to follow the path someone mentioned earlier, Exile > Qeynos > Kelethin where going from Qeynos to Kelethin is little more than a relocation and not an actual exile (again). G'luck!

My hubby betrayed his ogre directly to Kelethin, and did not go by way of Queynos. That was a while back. I don't think it's changed.

They have a new house packing system. When you move into a new place all your stuff is there and you drop your old house. If it is the acorn you like then not much you can do but if it is worrying about moving everything then there isn't much of a worry. You will have to place everything again just there is a crate with all your stuff in the new house.

<p>As someone that's done the whole Betrayal stuff of late (Neriak to Kelethin), I can say that you go from Starting City, to Exile, to City of your Choice.</p><p>So pretty much it's a case of: Start betraylar questline up, do those quick & easy quests to betray. Leave city & wind up in Exile (Haven). Then go to your area that you want to betray to & do the quests that get your faction up enough to where they'll let you become a citizen (which I believe is Amiably). Understand that you'll be at full hated -50,000 (perhaps only -40,000), but doing the quests yields a fairly decent return of +Faction (1,000-5,000 per quest...I always did the +5,000 for when I went to Kelethin)</p>
