Why would a 7600gt not be supported by eq2? a 7600gt is a popular card and eq2 is a well known game. why isnt it supported? its really annoying me that i built a system for eq2 and my 7600gt xxx wont run it well.

I was just about to buy the EVGA 7600GT   Are you saying this is a bad idea?  I have read others use this card and it is sweet?   What card in this price range do you suggest then?

What exactly are the issues you are having and do you have your dxdiag and msinfo posted with an exact explination of the problems?

Where did you see this?  I have 3 sysems in the house with 7600gt's running it fine.

eq2 tech support told me its not supported, and when i turn on shadows hell comes lol

Shadows work fine for me till they dissapear after a bit.  However, performance with them on is terrible (since all shadows are drawn with the CPU and NOT GPU I turn them off).
