no froglok available

<p>This was my first character creation in the test server so please forgive me if someone has already cleared this question up.  I noticed that the froglok race was not selectable, it was blacked out.  Does this mean frogloks are being wiped?  Thanks!</p>

<p>Not playing on the test server I have a thought or two on it.</p><p>You need to do the quest to unlock froglok at least once on a server before anyone can create a froggy. You may need to do it yourself in order to create a froggy. </p><p> I don't know how it actually works as I have completed the quest on live and can make froggies but it may be one of those two *shrugs*.</p>

Here's the thing with frogloks. To play them, you :    (1) need to be on a server where the serverwide unlocking quest & raid were performed, OR    (2) need to do the solo quest to enable the unlock on your account. Apparently you've never done (2).  We actually DID do the raid on Test -- I've got the Hero of Kugup title and some screenshots of the turn-in -- but some months back one of our server resets wiped it.  If you do the solo quest on any server, the froggies will be anabled permanently on your account, for ALL servers, including Test.

I did the Froglok unlocking quest on my inquis, no real issues, except hate losing a couple chunks of faction when instructed to clear out the Qeynos camp.  Once you get the stone, you hit the Dog Pond, port to Kugup, then run around and do a number of small retrieval quests in town.  Once done, hail the king, and your account can now make froggies as PCs.  Great quest arc for the reward (couple AA).
