Ok so I'm sure this question has been answered a million times, but here goes anyway. I recently created a conjurer alt and am wondering what AA lines would be best for soloing. I have a raiding Templar and so I just decided I want something to mess around with on my down time but I like to solo (which is virtually impossible with a raid ready templar) so what's good? Thanks! Calare Nebra 70 Templar Everfrost Paragon

My Solo AA Spec:

WIS - 4-8-8-8

STA - 4-8-4-5

Conjurations: Earth Pet: 5

Foundation: Pet Heal: 4, Vehement Gem: 6

Abjurations: Geotic Seal: 5, Blazing Avatar: 6

* 3 in either Cure Elemental or Scintilla of Essence - doesn't really matter either way for solo

Evocations: Snapping Mandibles: 5, Deluge: 5, Fiery Annihilation: 5, Calcify: 5, Unabate: 1

The wisdom line of the summoner tree is very good. The final ability is not as good as it sounds imo, but its occasionally useful and hey, 1 point for a cool Animist title. On the Conjuror side, Enhance Earth Pet, Pet Heal and enhancements to Vehement Stone and Stoneskin are my favorites. You don't get the spells for Vehement Stone or Stoneskin until level 40 though, so you can focus your advancement elsewhere to begin with.

It depends on what you want to solo. Peronsally, with EOF I went with the DPS line and Unabate, and then with the enhance pet line and Hydromancer, and I LOVE it. For KOS I went with Str and Int lines. If Im killing blue+ heroics I tend to use my earth pet, using standard conji techniques. With the enhance earth pet and enhance plane shift Ive solo'd all 3 of the named Lyrechs (think they're 71^^^ - 72^^^), so its pretty effective. When killing green heroics or solo mobs however, I use my Hydro pet. I swap my Najena robe for the robe from Nest (procs a ward), swap a Vultak eye (crafted from Nest) which also procs a ward, and just nuke like mad. The hydro pet has no problems keeping me alive, and stuff dies fast. (Using this technique I can clear the first room in Castle Mistmoore). A lot of people dont like the Hydro pet, but I LOVE her. (Actually, we're engaged to be married, but keep that under wraps please).
