I know the subject of AA is all up and down our forums in mulitpy threads. I have read them and I do know they exist. My questions is basically the AA placement that the wizards are using once the are gettin into the Avatar / clearing all EoF zones.

I have your standard wizard AA lines for KoS , WIS & AGI. In EoF I have a combination Fire, Ice, and Manaburn. I know Manaburn is pretty much crap. All it does is make soloing Poet runs easier, boost my trash DPS, and only really comes in handy for the greater vampires in EoF instances where you need massive burst DPS. But finally my guild is seeing the 3rd floor and we are picking up some stacks and the DPS for the guild as a whole is doing much better. Good enough that I think I can dump the big manaburn and get more into Ice. I am not trying to reinvent the wheel and was wondering where the placement of the EoF AAs seems to be the most profitable for the Ren's and Fomka's of Norrath. I want more into Ice for the FG

Currently i have the Manaburn, 5aa in BoL and 5 in Ice Nova, rest of the points are basically to get to those points. Fully Mastered which 100aa. I normally parse 2000-2100 zone in FTH not counting the last 2 namers with a TC and fury normally, but I am looking to get it higher. I know a trb would give me a boost too.

Thanks

My current setup: There are several variations that people use on this and i guess it comes down to personal preference and personal circumstances. Some take incapacitate instead of anomalism. Some try and fit in fusion enhancements into their setup. Some won't take Fortify enhancements. There is no wrong answer really. However, most will agree that iceshape + FG5 is a must-have.

What kind of Wizard are you daray? I've been out of the loop and EQ2 AA trees are just wierd and crazy. The lines don't have titles or anything. Have to mouse hover over every circle to see the description. There should be lines that say "Cold elemental Line" or "Warrior Wizard". Stuff like that. Here's what kind of Wizard I am. I'm a grouper, I like to raid on weekends. I like to debuff and use Damage Over Time spells so I stay out of agro, but I also like to do serious damage, nukes. But I make sure to have the emergency agro reducers ready to go. I like to have a lot of INT. I have a few fabled pieces of gear, the rest are all always legendary or Master Crafted. What would be the best way to go for me?

This one effects our fire spells (obviously), usually by decreasing power costs and recast times (I think it's recast). The ultimate ability is Fireshape, which makes all spells fire for a short duration (works well with some Sol Ro miracles). Far right is the Ice tree. Again, it effects ice spells, the most important effect being to reduce resist rates on it. Ultimate ability is Iceshape, changing all spells to ice (works well with the frigid gift buff). Middle left is the Power tree. increases the power given by the spells that give power (I believe). Ultimate ability is Manaburn which basically turns all your power into one big nuke. Manaburn is largely the main reason anyone really focuses on this tree. Middle right is the Sheilding tree. Increases the defensive power of some of our defensive abilities. Ultimate ability, I believe, is one that increases the range of all spells. I don't think a lot of people really go into this tree. The exception is soloers taking the Magi's Sheilding upgrade that adds a ward to the spell.
