Since i can't find the original thread and the issue hasn't been fixed yet i'll start a new one and hope this time it gets the attention it deserves. The matter of the discussion? <img src="http://eq2.xanadu-community.com/images/loot/1391.jpg" border="0"> The problem? The focus. - Combative Rage is a groupbuff that grants 82 In-Combat Health Regen to all group members, not counting that it can be improved with EoF AAs it's totally useless (with or without the focus) because it basically regens 82 (92 if focused) Hit Points every 6 seconds which is nothing for a character with 9500-10000 health selfbuffed (14-15k health raidbuffed) - Most of other Plate Fighters (and i think most of all classes) get a Focus on a lvl 57-60 spell for their Relic2 legs, Combative Rage is lvl 61 (and it's crappy as i already pointed out <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />) - No other class gets a Defensive Group Buff Focus, Dirges get more DPS on their group DPS buff, most of other classes with Group Buff Focuses get Trigger Chance increases or something slightly useful. The only exception is Guardians that get their Group HP Buff focus on their Relic2 BP. The difference? Group Regeneration is totally crap, Group Raw HPs is totally wonderful (for any class, specially for Tanks) - We aren't a class aimed to group buffs (the only useful ones are Roar and War Cry), so i don't see the point of this Focus - Berserkers can generally hit the cap on In-Combat health Regeneration since ages, so this focus is even more useless So basically this focus should be changed and i doubt anyone can disagree on this. The possible solutions: The best solution for Berserkers would be having the focus change to a Insolent Gibe recast reduction, otherwise these would be nice aswell: - Increased Hate and/or Damage and/or Trigger Chance on Taunting Defense - Increased Damage or Reduced Recast on Frenzied Blows - Increased Damage on Breach - Increased Damage on Stampede in that order of priority, i won't be so fool to ask for a focus on Open Wounds or on Defensive Stance as they probably would have a 0.01% chance to be taken into consideration (even if Guardian's 7 pieces-focus is an improvement on Def Stance) I'll add a little thing here, Guardian BP shows a 586 Mitigation against 568 of every other plate fighter. I thought that it was like in KoS where every class had a piece with more mitigation than other classes (it was gussets for zerkers and helm for guardian), but thisn is not true for Relic 2, so maybe it's a typo? or more guardian love?

changing those leggings is needed. it s outrageous we get the worst focus possible when guardian get a focus on the best aggro snapping skill created in game. Those leggings are due to be change in respect of the berserker player base.

that is but one of the items needing a revamp. There was allready a loot revamp , but it sure as hell wasn't enough. Yes they need another focus, even more how a zerk can reach by himself the hp regen cap. Then you could also talk about how the troub set has more AGI and STA on it than INT, and how the 3 and 7 set effects are total crap, and how the 5 set effect isn't on par with those of other classes. Someone there in the studios thinks he's using cocaïne while it is in fact chalk powder.

<p>I agree that effect is a sick joke, but I'd rather see them fix in combat regen generally (like by making it per second rather than per tick), rather than a single item fixed while it stays useless.</p>

I agree this focus is a complete joke and so are our set bonuses for that matter.  Compare our set bonuses to those of Guardians or even SKs and ours are a complete joke.  Does the person who designed that set know anything at all about Berserkers?  Obviously not...  Give us more defensive buffs or more DPS or more hate generation... SOMEthing useful.  I hate to break it to you devs, but 9% double attack when most Berserkers are already at 76% double attack is a marginal increase in DPS at the very best, especially if you use something like the Mayong hammer that will put you at 88% or getting illusionary arm cast on you by an Illusionist which will put you over 100%.  30 seconds off the recast time of one combat art that usually does about as much damage as an auto-attack is hardly a worthy (5) set bonus and adding 100 hate to our single target taunt is well... yeah, you get the picture. Needless to say, I'll take my set armor when it drops since I'm the only Berserker in my raid force, but I'm sure not going to pass up some of the awesome individual armor pieces out there in order to get these crap-tastic set bonuses.
