For some reason, my computer isn't playing the game like it used to. I went through and cleaned up everything I could in the computer but the game still jumps like there is no tomorrow. Not to mention the zoning times are longer than they've ever been! Is there anything else I can do to make my game run better?

Without you supplying us the necessary information required from the stickied "Read Before Posting" thread, I am going out-on-a-limb and say that you are running less then 20% of available hard drive space. If this is the case, then google for and download either diskkeeper or perfect disk and run those programs after you clean up some additional hard drive space that both Windows operating system is residing on and where EverQuest II is residing on.

a couple of things i figured i would ask you before you post your info...

do you run any sort of norton products? norton anti-virus, spyware, whatever... norton home/personal stuff is NOTORIOUS for slowing down systems over time. as soon as you uninstall these programs, the system speeds up significantly.

also, have you ran any spyware/antivirus scanning tools on the system lately? if not, it could be an issue with one or both.

one last thing to try is this: go to Start->Program Files->System Tools-> Disk Defragmenter

what the defragmenter does, is take all the little chunks that makes up one file, and places them sequentially on the hard drive so that the drive does not have to search the entire drive looking for the little bits and pieces of data. it helps access times ALOT.

if after doing the above, you still have problems, then post the info you are supposed to.

i would NOT recommend running your computer without anti-virus/spyware protection on your computer. AVG Free Anti-virus for anti-virus, and both Ad-aware SE Personal, and Spybot S&D are both good for spyware, preferably use both, because no scanning tool finds everything, as they are constantly coming up with new spyware/virii that the scanner cannot see till it gets updates. it is ALWAYS a catch-up game when it comes to these things.
