View Full Version : Techincal support from sony is so stupid

I try calling and get automated services sending me in circles for 40 minutes. I go through all the options hit the button to talk to a representive and than it starts me all over. STUPID. I go to live chat and im 1st in que i sit there for 4 hours without a response. I email and get no response for days. This is rediculous sony shape up no wonder so many people get fed up with your stuff and leave. Dont get me wrong i love the game but when i pay for something and dont get it it gets me mad. I want to know where i can contact someone to talk about why i havent recived what i bought.

When you call and get an automated voice press 0 four or five times.  I do it with UPS and Verizon so it might work with Sony too. [Edit] Actually, their technical support automated service is very easy to navigate.  Call the number 1-858-537-0898.  Be aware that it's a San Diego area code and not an 800 number so long distance fees may apply.  It'll tell you several options.  Go to technical support then listen to the options and choose the one that puts you with an operator.  Then it'll ask you what game, tell it Everquest II.  Be aware that you will have a looooong wait time, as the automated reminder stating "we are experiencing high call volume" or whatever will tell you a couple of times. [Edit #2] Also, it is possible to get through, I just tried it.  I didn't have any issues to talk about though so I don't know how well their operator support actually is.  Just be patient, though.  I was on hold for like 10 minutes but it could be slower or faster depending on when you call them.
