Hi there...

just a question... I upgraded all my symbols with various dmg modifiers like+45 cold +45 disease etc... but I cant see the spells upgraded on my hot bar... for example Plague stays at 255 per tick... using symbol or not... doesnt matter.. same with any other nuke, or dot or dmg spell. Also tested those on mobs... always the same dmg parses, cant see it upgraded anywhere....

No problem with the normal fabled items that give you dmg boosts so far... just with the adornments

Anyone else having Issues with the symbol adornments??

I'm a LvL 70 mystic if that would care....

thanks for the help

Drag

The +45 to cold and disease is not a damage mod but a resist mod. It should raise your resists by the amount it says. If you want damage modifiers you need to find the ones that say "increases spell damage by xx" or "increases dps by xx."

You should see a change to the damage listed in spells, though exceptions have been seen.

If you have put the adornment on the symbol, then are testing with or without that symbol equipped, are you equipping a comparable symbol without an adornment instead? If you are leaving the slot blank, then you are likely missing out on any Int that the symbol provides, and that will impact the damage of your spells, both listed and in the parse.

If damage modifiers work the same as healing ones, then the +45 won't be added to each tick on DoTs but to the total damage that they do. So, each tick might go up by 1, not 45.
