Dwarf walking animation

Is there a reason when dwarves "walk" they jog around like 70 year olds? Kind of annoying when I want to walk around my house (And possibly record it with FRAPs to show off my house to some friends in another game). Would love to see it fixed.

All of the short races do this, as far as I know. It is extremely annoying.

With short legs you have to 'jog' to keep up with taller races?

<p>The slow motion jogging animation of little races while actually "walking" is strange and annoying, indeed.</p><p>While it is made to match the speed of non-speed-buffed walking taller races, it could be removed as well.</p><p>Nobody out there in Norrath is "walking", except while being overloaded or you activate that mode in fights with (epic) mobs that use fear.</p><p>So even when it resulted in different default walking speeds of the different races, it would be really great if little races would be WALKING instead of slow motion jogging.</p><p>Maybe developing the running and walking animations, they found out that little races really walking (instead of slow mo jogging) looks even more rediculous, since both the tall and the small races were meant to have the same (unbuffed) walking speed.</p><p>So maybe the "slow mo jogging" is better than any "slapstick walking". </p>

I wish the frogloks run was a sped up version of their walk. I wonder how that would look. I just can't stand the hop hop hopping.

The only thing of dwarves i Hate is their neck! lol. It twists at some hideous angles.
