Hello,

I recently renewed my account after being away on work for a few months. My main is a 53 Swashy on Crushbone (as well as numerous alts), and I used to have a level locked 20 Swashy on Venekor as well.

Upon returning, my interest in the PvP game has dramatically increased. I find myself wanting to start on one of the pvp realms fresh, with a class that I am generally unfamiliar playing, and the Fury immediatly caught my eye.

I have played PvP MMORPG's for years, so I am accustomed to being rolled when not expecting it and everything that comes with playing on a PvP enabled server. You will die, its simply a fact, and not one that bothers me in the least - I want to be able to hold my own though, firmly.

I find myself Solo often, but am by no means scared to group - how viable is a Fury in solo PvP? one of my main goals is to accumulate a ridiculous number of aa's in a short period of time, so feel free to assume I'll have at least 20 aa's by 18.

If I spec for PvP, will I still be a viable group healer? or reduced to a straight-up off healer / buffbot?

Also, PvP Server questions - Which server generally has the highest population? Is any one server particularily known for having a stonger PvP community than the other? feel free to toss in any suggestions as to why your server may be better than another, be as biased or non-biased as you like.

Basically, be as in depth as possible (or if thats not your style, then be as vague as you'd like) - toss out any and all advice you can think of, I am a blank book waiting to be written. Thanks alot in advance for any helpful tips, and if you have any secrets you'd like to share then feel free to email them to me at [email protected] (email will maintain your privacy and ensure your secrets remain just that).

Much appreciated, see you in Norrath!

Once you have animal form, Priests become pretty easy; Crusaders to an extent. Most other classes, if played well, can pretty much own a Fury. Furies have very weak self healing, very low hp, very low mitigation/avoidance, and a hard time landing spells on anyone with adequate resists.

If you're going to stop at a low level, like many do on PvP, resists might not be as big an issue for you. At 70, though, it becomes a real crapshoot and you'll have to find a bunch of gear that procs stuns/stifles/dazes to stand a chance against melee.

Warden, on the other hand, is a godly pvp class, and I'm pretty sure there are a ton of threads about it you'd be able to find.

From what I've heard, Fury seems to be more popular for the more offensive side. What makes a Warden better for solo pvp?

Better ability to survive.

Nuking means squat when you're dead. Our heals are small, fast, and direct. We are more "spot healers".

Wardens have HoT's built in to their heals which allows them to survive interrupts, big damage, etc. a lot better than us.
