Ya, the broker system in this game isn't like WoW's broker system. You can actually buy the amount you want from a single stack of items listed on the broker. Hence the reason each item in a stack is induvidually priced on the broker.

Why is it that when I put things up on the broker they are stacked but when some other people do it they are not and take up many pages in the broker search?

multiple stacks. Especialy if they are bad about puting the same item in several "Broker containers" or on mutliple"sell" alts.

they are all forsale by the same person, made by the same person and are taking up the first 7 pages in the search at a higher price even.

>>>Why is it that when I put things up on the broker they are stacked but when some other people do it they are not and take up many pages in the broker search?<<< There are a couple of possibilities: 1. Items in different broker containers do not stack. 2. Items in the same broker container stack if you drag and drop the item directly onto the broker container symbol.  If you drag and drop the item onto the list of items in the broker container (instead of onto the container icon itself), the item might or might not stack with existing items.
