<p>Coming out in English, French, German and Japanese and due to release in November, what do you think this exp pack will offer us troubs? Hopefully the epic that they have in store for troubadors won't completely blow like some of the class set armor did. Sure there was some good pieces, but then again there were some pieces in ther that made me think "[Removed for Content]". Also, whoever designed the troubador set bonuses please for the love of God do not touch the troubador epic, or even be in the same room as the person who is designing it.

<p>< Insert generic negative comment about DPS and/or Mez ></p><p>But on the bright side, I did see something in the test update notes (the ones about Nerriak) about an Instrument vendor. Some one please look into that because I really want to believe that RoK is going to be our big break.</p>

<p>The vendor sells instruments which (AFAIK) have no stats and don't do anything other than play the graphic of someone using them. They're also usable by anyone.</p><p>I'd like to think we'll get some nice toys with RoK, but I'm going to expect the worst. That way if we get something, it'll be a pleasant surprise, and I wont be let down if we get kicked in the nuts again.</p>

I heard vendors sell the instruments too but it is more for the roleplayers, just another fluff toy to add to the collection of fluffy things. Which reminds me I picked up a dolly in Nek castle with a ton of int and wisdom, pity it is only for SK and pally.

<p>Troubs rock. If I turn my songs off the party will die, simple as that. Respect the troubs that are left in the community because we are a rare breed these days. I went through DFC and killed fyst got my SBS and SSoYK, then went to do FBSS yesterday, got them all done without a healer. Why? Because my hp regen and the amount of speed to casting, melee haste and combat skill enhancements I bring, as well as buffs to stats etc and the many other songs that come into play, enable my team to burn through anything within 4 lvls above or below the average lvl of the group.</p><p>A troub balaces things out and I am sure will play a vital role to the successful parties/ raids in the next upcoming expansion pack. </p><p>*evacs*</p>

<p>I have hope... I mean, PotM and Jester's Cap were added in expansions with level increases, so hopefully they'll stick with it and give another temp buff or two.  The addition of instruments, no matter what they do, is a good step and will at least lead to something, even if it takes them a while.</p><p>It aint much, but I'm not expecting much.... atm, its just fun having the mages kiss up to me so I stick with my troub <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Aside from all the negative things that could go wrong here is my wishlist of positives: 1. New Ability - Blessed Hymn Adept I: Heals group members (AE) for 350hp-600hp; recast 30 seconds <i>Troubador is the jack of trades master of none being part scout, part mage, and now part healer as well. </i>2. Spell upgrade to PotM - Perfection of the Maestro Adept I: * On Successfull hostile spell this spell well cast perfect note on target of spell - inflicts 275 - 340 mental damage on target * Increases INT of group members (AE) by 62 <i>PotM will no longer Root or Stun the caster</i> 3. Spell upgrade to Requiem of Reflection - Chorus of Reflection Adept I: Target Group (AE) * when target is damaged this spell has an 14% chance to cast Chorus of Reflection on Target Lasts for 30 seconds. * Magical Attacks absorbed 2 times * Reflects the effect at 100% of its' cast level. 4. All other spells get modest upgrades that would apply to T8.

However, I think half the bards here would quit the game if they have to go 35 levels with no significant upgrade to their nukes.

Nah, that wouldn't be enough by far, remove the daze aswell and you'll see a lot of happy troubs. Also, with AA enhancement it's already 30 seconds which is long enough <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> 2 - Runspeed cap is 100% right now I think, easilly achievable with a fury for a period of time <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> 3 - That would be nice yet the self buff could use some more work. Perhaps make 2 stances out of it, one being offensive with melee skill buffing + offensive proc and second having defense+parry and defensive proc maybe. 4 - Mana and power regen would be rather nice to have as one buff but I doubt that's gonna happen, hehe.

How about only bards get bonuses for having Instruments equipped while everyone can "use" them.

I would like to see some more variety to our buffs etc, maybe instead of the usual buff a STR/AGI/INT buff with lesser stats than the usual one.
