AS far as weapons go, it depends on what your class is. What is your class? For a ranger, I want a big damage spread and high top end damage. The DR is not quite as important as those 2 things because I want to maximize my crit damage. For example, raincaller has a DR of 75.5 and a damage spread of 120-390 (about). Grizzle has a DR of 78 but a damage spread of 130-360. I use raincaller even though the DR is lower because the damage spread is bigger and the high end damage is higher. The delay is also 7 sec as opposed to 6 sec which means I proc more as well. This is also the reason the GDoH is the best DW in the game with a DR of 55.5 But none of this matters if you are not built for crits. So again it comes down to what class you play and your AA build.
