Monk RoK Epic. What do you think it will be?

As the title says. What do you think the Monk epic weapon(s) will be? Sadly SOE doesn't seem to think Monks should use 2hb weapons since they haven't made too many Monk usable ones. I'm hoping for a nice 2hb weapon but a nice match for Marr's Fist would be nice also.

<p>Well, if it stays true to EQ1, it'll be one of three.</p><p>Most likely, it will be "Celestial Fists" (introduced in EQ1's first expansion, Ruins of Kunark) and it would either be a glove slot item (like in EQ1) or a dual wield weapon. Also, it might make little symbols (incidently, they look like colorless versions of the EQ2 monk class logo) fly out of the hand(s) of the monk, should it stay true to the original's theme.</p><p>As another option, it would be either the appearance of the "Epic 1.5" or "Epic 2.0" monk weapon (both a part of the same, yet much later, expansion, Omens of War. The Epic 1.5 simply doesn't have the particle effects the Epic 2.0 inherits after you've "powered up" your weapon to 2.0 status). This would result in a dual wield weapon that would be small stones circling around your fist (with wispy trails following behind them, ala Epic 2.0). The name of the weapon would either be "Fistwraps of Celestial Discipline" (Epic 1.5) or "Transcended Fistwraps of Immortality" (Epic 2.0)</p><p>If times haven't changed, then there's some insight for you.</p>

Yeah that is what I was kind of afraid of. Not that I don't like dual wield weapons but I would like to see a nice two hand weapon. Maybe it could work like the Wyrm Slayer where you can change it around. Like the Warrior epic from EQ1.

<p>In EQ1, the only classes that got 2-handed epics were Paladin epic 1.0 and 2.0 (1.5 obviously included, if you read my previous post), Shadow Knight epic 1.0 and 2.0, Warrior 1.0 (which could be turned into a pair of weapons, also), and Berserker epic 1.0 and 2.0.</p><p>Every other class either got one or two weapons for their epic 1.0 (sans Monk, with a pair of gloves that changed their unarmed, hand-to-hand combat ratio for the better at the time) or a single weapon for their epic 2.0.</p><p><span style="font-size: xx-small">(Yeah, my information comes from being an EQ1 vet. Honestly, I only recently came back to EQ2 and I split my time between both games anyway right now.)</span></p>
