<p>For reasons I have yet to figure out, ever since joining the game (November 2004), the names over the heads of NPC's and/or mobs do not fade into view until I am practically on top of them.</p><p>That makes for some considerable annoyance in aggro areas.</p><p>I do NOT have "show names only on mouseover" checked, or however it is worded. So in other words, the names should just be there at all times if "close enough".</p><p>The issue is with the closeness, which feels like have to be within a couple meters before the name finally becomes visible.</p><p>I also have the rendering thing set to as where things are supposed to render from as far away as it is possible for them to do so. </p><p>Do other people notice this? I have searched every setting numerous times to no avail.</p>
